In this exciting role, you will

? Responsible for the process design of new, renovation, and expansion projects, such as design basis, process description, PID, process flow diagram, equipment list, data sheet
? Cooperate with production, maintenance, and other departments to complete the procurement of equipment, facilities, and other materials.
? You will be reporting to Process Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

? Responsible for process calculation, such as fluid mechanics, equipment sizing, heat exchanger, pump, fan, etc.
? Responsible for equipment, pipeline layout, detailed drawings, etc.
? Responsible of providing process requirements to other disciplines
? Review technical documents such as equipment condition drawings, manufacturing drawings, technical agreements, etc.
? Check the engineering design drawings and documents provided by the engineering company, design institute, and suppliers.
? Participate in various coordination and communication tasks during the project process.
? Complete other tasks assigned by the company and department.


Requirements:

? Minimum 5 years in process engineering within food, daily chemical, or biotech industries. 
? Solid grasp of process design basics: PFD development, PID creation, and equipment sizing (e.g., fluid mechanics - based pipeline sizing, heat exchanger/ pump/ fan calculations).
? Familiar with sector - relevant codes (e.g., FDA, GMP) and design specs for safety, compliance, and quality.
? Process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) for modelling and feasibility analysis.
? CAD software (AutoCAD Plant 3D) for layout drawings.
? Doc management platforms (SharePoint) for technical file control.
? Cross - Team Collaboration. Able to communicate and work with production, maintenance, procurement, and external partners. Can translate process needs into clear inputs for other disciplines.
? Competent in checking technical docs (drawings, agreements) to ensure compliance with design intent, standards, and project regulations.
? Strong skills to tackle process design issues (e.g., bottlenecks) and adapt to changes/ site conditions.
? Hold relevant certs like PE license (chemical/ process) or sector - specific ones (CFS for food), showing commitment to standards.

This job is based in Jia Xing, Zhejiang Province, China
